Our friend Steve Campbell took some pictures of our family yesterday. I thought they turned out really cute.
The story of a girl who blinked and became a woman overnight. A wife, A mother, A daughter, A sister, A friend.

Well another football season has come to an end, with not so great results. We ended up 2-8 overall. So depressing. The coaches put in an incredible amount of work and end up disgusted with the way things turn out. The kids and I went out of town last weekend after the last game, a terrible game BTW, so Cody was able to rest, hide out, and crash after working so hard for the last four months. At least I have some great pictures from this season, (even though he looks REALLY serious and unhappy in them.) The beauty of football is, there is always next season. I'm very proud of Cody, he is truly a wonderful father and husband. The kids were so excited yesterday because he was home in the daylight, he was able to play with them on their bikes and see them in the afternoon instead of right before (or after) their bed time. Case said daddy's home?? I said yes, he said...why??? :) Of course he says why?? to everything right now. It's amazing how much Cody misses, I don't think people realize how much these guys (and their families) sacrifice for their players. It's a good thing he loves it.

This was her favorite part!

Pretty curtsy!

Pretty pointed toes!

So proud of her roses...

...and her crown!!

FINALLY! I can put up some pics of the new dog. Or as Case calls him.... PPPPUUUUPPPPYYYY!. He runs around yelling that all the time. Puppy, come here or Puppy, off or Puppy, want some? This dog is super fast, I can't catch him if he gets out. He'll come to Stoney that is the only way we can get him back in the house. Thanks Aunt Jeri for the Red Raider shirt he is sporting in these pics.
So here's my little guy, Caser the Eraser. I swear that nickname is going to be with him forever. He just got his hair cut. He looks like such a little man! this pic was taken with phone so it's a little blurry, besides, he won't stand still even for a second. I made this little video because he is so funny on his tricycle. He goes so fast! He doesn't have pedals. It's fun to watch. I'll post more pics of the rest of the crew soon. I love my family! What a blessing!
It's sight word mania at the McGuire household. I sent Stoney off to Wyoming with a jacket, cap, jeans and his sight words. I threatened my dad with bodily harm if he didn't work with him while they were away. I just want him to have a great experience in first grade and really be where he needs to be as far as his reading goes.
Here's our new house! We are so excited! We are staying there for the first time tonight. We are going to paint the kids rooms tomorrow... I think, and move our stuff in on Friday and Sat. We went swimming in the neighborhood pool that is just at the end of our street and our first experience there was definitely memorable. Stoney and JoLee did great in the pool, Case however is fearless and just plain crazy and jumps in and waits for someone to save him. He literally runs and jumps, no hesitation, no fear, screaming like a mad man. Cody and I ended up, fully clothed in the pool. I went in after him first, and a little while later Cody ended up in the pool boots and all. The kids thought that was hysterical! God has been so good to us! We can't wait to have everyone over!
